Douglas M. Stringer is an Associate at The
Session Law Firm responsible for Assistant/Legislative Affairs. His duties
include policy analysis, political development, and various lobbying activities.
Having worked extensively in Public Affairs, Mr. Stringer previously worked with
the American Association of Retired Persons in Washington, D.C., as Administrative
Assistant in AARP's Office of Volunteer Coordination. He also work in the District
Office of former United States Representative Mike Ward (3rd-KY, 104th Congress)
in Louisville KY. First as District Office Intern, then as Staff Assistant/Constituent
Service where he conducted legislative/policy analysis and research for district
case work. Mr. Stringer also worked in local government as Administrative/Associate
Legislative Assistant to Twelfth Ward Alderman Paul Bather of the City of Louisville, KY.
Mr. Stringer has been associated with organizations such as the AFL-CIO's Frontlash, and
has actively participated in political campaigns. He is also a member of the American
Society for Public Administration.
Mr. Stringer received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University
of Kentucky at Lexington, and obtained a Post-Baccalaureate education in Public Relations
from the University of Louisville, and obtained his MA in Public Administration.
